Liam King, web producer and comms specialist

Hello / G'day!

I'm a bit of a web mongrel with significant experience across high profile web:

...and lots of bits in between.

I’m currently working as a web producer / experience architect for the Sydney based agency Digital Eskimo. I only started at the end of March 2010 so not much to report yet.

Before heading Down Under I was working for the UK Parliament to lead the selection and procurement of a new CMS. I was also there to improve the delivery and evaluation of online services for MPs and Lords.

More about Liam King

I was previously the senior web editor for fco.gov.uk, the departmental site for the UK Foreign Office.

During my time at the Foreign Office I also coordinated the launch of the London Summit website and helped to deliver the FCOWeb project (UK Foreign Office web platform of 230+ websites).

My LinkedIn profile has a full list of my skills, history and experience and you can also see what others say about me.

I also blog about my life as a webby on managingwebsites.co.uk - (I've actually been a bit quiet on this while travelling (Aug 2009 - Mar 2010), but will soon be getting back into the swing of regularly posting).

What else is there to know?

When I'm not doing web stuff I'm training for marathons, losing in pub quizzes or learning Swedish. Don't ask!
